Lisa Frias

(BFA Honours Dance, TTP (Dip) – NBS, RAD  RTS, A.I.S.T.D)

A graduate of York Universities Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours Dance program and Canada’s National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program (NBS TTP). Has successfully earned the Solo Seal Award. She was a seasoned finalist on So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

Johanna Hilchie

(RAD RTS, ARAD, AISTD, NBS TTP Dip.)

Johanna’s professional performing experience includes dancing in Canada, U.S. & Mexico. She graduated with distinction from Canada's NBS Teacher Training Program. Miss Hilchie also teaches at the National ballet school.

Chantelle Lemay

Erin Brown

(TTP (Dip) – NBS, RAD RTS, ARAD, AISTD. (National)

 A graduate of the National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program, Erin is a registered teacher with the RAD and has also completed her Intermediate and Advanced 1 Cecchetti and Intermediate through Advanced 2 I.S.T.D. National Dance Examinations.

Michelle Bastone

(RAD RTS, RMT)

Michelle Bastone is a graduate of the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. She holds Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance as well as advanced levels of both Cecchetti and RAD ballet examinations and is also a Registered Massage Therapist.

Tamara Morrison

(MUSICAL THEATRE)

Tamara is noted for her fun, entertaining  and creative style.  Since 2006 her musical theatre productions continue to win overall awards and cash prizes.  She has performed in several music video’s, commercials and print ads; most notably for Annick, Wide Mouth Mason & Tommy Hilfiger.

Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Stephanie is a graduate of the Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School where she received a degree in teaching, as well as Registered Teacher's Status with the Royal Academy of Dance.

Cheryl Quiacos Upper

Director (B.A., ARAD, RAD RTS)

Cheryl Upper is proud to have been a part of CDM for 20 years. Cheryl was a national level gymnast who was introduced to the magic of dance by Miss Cynthia Fisher. She was an apprentice with the Banff Festival Ballet Company and after graduating for Earl Haig Secondary School's Claude Watson Dance Program, Cheryl spent years training in contemporary dance at the The Ailey School in New York City.

Cynthia Fisher

(Dual Examiner of the Royal Academy of Dance, ARAD)

Director of Ballet has two RAD teaching diplomas and has over 30 years of teaching experience. Her work for the Royal Academy of Dance has involved teaching student classes and teacher's courses across Canada. She has examined all over the world.

Daphne Paquette

B.A. Fine Arts (acro, contemporary, ballet, jazz). CDTA Adv.Certified Teacher in Acrobatics. She is jointly extending her degree with Simon Fraser University with a teaching diploma at Canada's National Ballet School Teacher Training Program.

Bartira Barreto

(ballet)

Principal dancer at the North of England College of Dance in England. Bartira holds her Adv. 2 (RAD) is a member of the Imperial Society Teachers of Dancing (ISTD).  She is extending her studies in dance at Canada's National Ballet School’s Teacher Training Program.

Angela Mahoney

(Hip Hop) Angela was chosen as one of the top 6 among hundreds to perform with Katy Perry at the 2010 MuchMusic Video Awards and has also choreographed for recording artists such as R&B vocalist Kelly Anthony.
